14:32 ‘The Lord has established Zion, and
in her his afflicted people will find refuge.’
This Chapter
opens with a note of hope ‘The Lord will have compassion on Jacob’ The afflicted, the poor of Yahweh, the remnant
of Israel will find refuge in Zion. Today, there are many places of rest but we
don’t see them. We seek refuge in things
that do not last or from which we do not find lasting satisfaction. But, rest and refuge are to be found in the holy
one of Israel who lives and moves in our midst. There were two or three are
gathered in the Name of love.
