25:9 ‘In that day they will say, “Surely
this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let
us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”’
We are
nearly half-ways through the scriptural journey of Isaiah. Thinking about this
in a strictly age-based probability we are well more than half ways along the
journey of life.
Pause
On Mount
Tabor we drink in the view. We see distant mountains and plains in all
directions. A quiet peace and silent
calling beckons.

We quieten
ourselves
And trust
comes knocking on our door. We trusted in him because he first trusted in us in
making us and nourishing us and saving us.
Je me tais - I quieten myself
Let us
rejoice and be glad in his salvation. On that
day which is today and a little bit every day.
