15:6 ‘The waters of Nimrim are dried up and the
grass is withered; the vegetation is gone and nothing green is left.’
Sometimes
it is like that in the natural world around us – vegetation, oceans, forests,
water, air and the places in which we live are degraded through a breakdown in
our relationships among each other and with the natural environment of which we
are a constituent part. A call to repentance in ancient times is echoed again
today in our a planet that bears the marks of human sinfulness.
